Auto-reset feature automatically cycles the transformer in a safe diagnostic mode until the short circuit is remedied. Soft start feature gradually applies voltage on cold lamps to extend lamp life. Unique short circuit protection from both normal and abnormal short circuits. Extended short circuit protection for a minimum of 8 hours under the duress of a short circuit.
