With 3-4 hours of direct sunlight every day, your Battery Doorbell can stay charged even longer than before. Battery life varies based on device settings, motion notifications and sun exposure. Install Solar Charger in a location without obstruction from the sun, where it can receive at least 3-4 hours of direct sunlight per day. For best results, install facing South if located in the northern hemisphere; install facing North if located in the southern hemisphere. Fully charge the doorbell battery before installing the doorbell in the Solar Charger.

This product only works with Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Generation - 2020 release) with a micro-USB connector. It is not compatible with Ring Video Doorbell 2 or any other Ring doorbells with a fork-style power connector.
