Flat Head: Heat-Treated Carbon Steel w/ Blue R-Blocker Coating -
100ct - 1/4" X 1-1/4" - #3 Philips drive size
The concrete screw cuts threads into concrete, hollow block, brick, mortar, and concrete masonry units (CMUs) to provide a secure hold without requiring threaded inserts. The anchor is made of 1022 carbon steel for strength and has a corrosion-resistant blue R-Blocker coating that meets American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) B117 standards to resist 1,000 hours of salt spray. The flat head is cone shaped for use in countersunk holes and has a flat top that fits flush with the mated surface. The Phillips drive has an x-shaped slot that accepts a Phillips driver and is designed to allow the driver to slip out of the head to help prevent over-tightening and damage to the thread or fastener.
The twin-lead threads and the fully threaded point cut into the mounting material to secure the screw placement and resist pull-out. The screw includes a drill bit to create the correct size hole for installation. The screw can be removed and reinstalled into the same hole to enable fixture changes or screw replacement.
